The song Miss Sarajevo relates to the context of the Bosnian war, which began around 1992. The song was described as follows in the Passengers CD booklet:Original Soundtracks 1:"This song was composed due to Bill Carter's award-winning documentary Miss Sarajevo. (...) local artists held a Miss Sarajevo beauty pageant and, during the elaboration of the pageant, the organizers kept going under tunnels and under crossfire. The aim of the documentary and the music presented was to show the world what the living conditions of the Bosnian population were like during the war."
