General Condition

Don Wat Archaeological Site is adjacent to the river that connects the Kui Buri River and the Khao Daeng Canal. These waterways flow from the mountains and the highlands in the west to the eastern seas of the Gulf of Thailand. The archaeological site is about 5 kilometers west of the Gulf of Thailand and 3.7 kilometers south of Khao Sam Roi Yot.

It was originally a large mound formed by deposition in the sand dunes. The area is about 20 rai, but has been plowed for use as agricultural land. It is currently an abandoned area. The soil surface is sandy soil. The surrounding area is a plain caused by coastal deposition. It is an agricultural area, including farming, gardening, and shrimp ponds, including the houses of the people.
