Wat Kut That is located to the northwest of the mound belonging to Ban Kut That Community. The mound is approximately 1 km long (along the east-west direction) and about 600 meters wide (along the north-south line). The mound is about 5 meters higher than the surrounding agricultural land.
The general condition of the area is a undulating area in the north of Phu Wiang. (Phu Wiang is about 3 kilometers to the south) Geography is sandstone in the Phu Kradueng rock category. In the west of the community there is an important water source, Kut Phong Long. which is the original river of the Phong River The current Phong River flows approximately 650 meters west from the community and Wat Kut That.
Within the community there is a small creek. It is a tributary of the Phong River flowing through several streams such as Huai Bak Chot. In addition to the west of the community and Wat Kut That, there is a large pond located. To the north of the well are traces of an ancient creek that is now shallow.

Geological conditions
Geological characteristics of the archaeological site are classified as Phu Kradueng rocks. The lowest part is sandstone, red, reddish-brown, and reddish-gray. It often contains mica. Some places have thin layers of limestone interspersed. The middle layer consists of sandstone, mudstone, reddish-brown and purple. There are clinker and clinker layers. The rock layers are often covered with thick sediment. Outcropping is rarely found. There are mica sandstone and pebbles. Switch layers appearing at regular intervals. The upper part is alternating powdery sandstone, sandstone, mudstone, and pebbles, calcareous, red-gray and gray-green. The top rock layer outcrops is a red-brown sandstone cliff and has some alternating layers of powdery sandstone. The sandstone layer is 30 cm thick to more than 1 meter. The general rock layer is relatively easily eroded. Conditions of sediment accumulation in rivers with strong currents along the trench. and precipitated on both sides of the river basin, swamp and marsh in a semi-arid climate of 180-145 million years (Department of Mineral Resources 2009:17-18).

Kut That Archaeological Site is located inside Wat Kut That. a brick element It is assumed that it is a relic or a chedi built around the 22nd-24th Buddhist century during the Lan Xang period.
Kut That Archaeological Site is located in the northwest of Wat Kut That. and to the north of the large well It looks like a small relic of brick masonry. square layout The length of each side is about 1.2 meters. The condition is broken. The height is about 90 centimeters. The mortar base is corroded to reveal the bare bricks. top base (Or the garden of elements?) with plaster on the outside in perfect condition. (Assumed that it was done in the latter), the deductible is missing. The brick size is about 5-8 centimeters thick, about 10-15 centimeters wide, and about 20-25 centimeters long. Around the element there are garlands tied with cloth. and various offerings It is assumed that this relic or chedi was built around the 22nd-24th Buddhist century during the Lan Xang period.
The area around the element poured is cement slab and made a fence around the area. On the south side, next to the archaeological site, there is one large relic that has just been completed.
The information of the Fine Arts Department (2017) indicates that the temple's history Wat Pho Si Wararam was established in 1888 in the northeast area of the village where there are Bodhi trees. therefore named Wat Pho Si Wararam Later, the temple was located without a water source. Therefore, the temple was moved to the west of the village next to the Huai Kut That. In this area, there is a small ancient relic, known as Kut That or Element Duk Ya Khu, which was located in this area for about 23 years, so the temple was moved to the east again. The area of Kut That has become an abandoned temple. and became a monastery and Wat Kut That respectively.
