Geological conditions
The soil is sandy and has a layer of river sediment sand. Because this area was originally a plain on the banks of the Ping River. Later, the Ping River became shallow due to the deposition of sand sediments and sandy soil, thus forming a plain around this Kamphaeng Phet town.

Wat Dong Wai is located outside the city wall on the north side, about 200 meters from the bridge gate. Currently, National Highway No. 101 (Kamphaeng Phet - Sukhothai) cuts through the back of the temple. The main chedi is bell-shaped, made of bricks. There is an altar on the east side on one side.
