Wat Miss is Wat Rat. Affiliated with Maha Nikaya From the legends and stories of the villagers Said that in the late Ayutthaya period there was a war between Ayutthaya and Burma. The Burmese army invaded to Ban Bang Tha Mai in Krathum Baen District. The men all went out to fight to protect the country. Only women, children and elderly people fled to flee the war. On the way, met with the Burma Army's patrol squad. So they went to hide in the church of an abandoned temple. Of the total number of refugees from the war, two sisters prayed to the Lord Buddha:If they were able to escape from the hands of the Burma Army, they would come back and renovate this temple. After the events of the war The two brothers returned to this temple. My sister saw that the condition of the temple was very deteriorated and the temple should be rebuilt. Therefore went to build a new temple called "Wat Kok Toei" (now this temple has completely collapsed in the river), but the sister wants to follow the truth. Therefore, the restoration was carried out until it was completed. and named it "Wat Phrom Jareeram" later changed its name to "Wat Sisters" and has been distorted to "Wat Miss" at present (The 1st Office of Fine Arts, Ratchaburi 2010 :130)
