Wat Burapha or Wat Burapharam is a temple that is still in use today. Located in Ubon Ratchathani Province, which is the former city of Ubon Ratchathani. According to the temple registration of the National Buddhism Office, Wat Burapharam is a Rat temple. under the Thammayut sect It was built in 1893 and was bestowed upon Wisung Kham Sima in 1971.
From the history of the temple said that this temple was built when 1893-1910 by Her Royal Highness Krom Luang Sapphasitthiprasong which he built for Phra Sita Jayaseno of Wat Sri Thong (Wat Sri Ubon Rattanaram) with faith to see him sitting here for meditation regularly.
In addition to Luang Pu Sitha Wat Burapha is also the birthplace of many important insight teachers such as Luang Pu Saat, Kantasilo, Luang Pu Man, Phuritto, etc.
Important archaeological evidence of Wat Burapharam includes:Old sim and two towers, including sandstone parapets around the chapel or the present building
Old Sim It is located in the southern area of the temple. Along the former Mun Sai River that is now a swamp The current condition is very damaged. Only the base and the wall structure are left. The temple was built to cover the building in 2010.
The appearance of this latter ten is a solid one. Plan of rectangular shape, size 2 rooms with a porch in front. Facing south towards the Mun River. There is only one stairway leading up to the porch and Sim in the front. There are 2 stairs, left and right. There are 3 front pillars all the same height. Support the weight of the back of the porch. The front porch has been restored to a more stable condition and looks newer than the original.
As for the brick base, it is cemented in the form of a lotus base in the Lan Chang style, or “waist bowl base” that appears everywhere in the Northeast. but not very elaborate showing locality The bottom base is a 2-tier chopping board, next up is a wire, a cornice, a wire, a wooden bottom, a wire, a cornice and a cornice, ending with 2 wires to support the wall. The walls have a slatted internal structure. Plastered with clay mixed with water and plastered over with lime once more. Both sides of the wall have two windows on each side. The roof of Sim had completely collapsed. It looks like a short shed that resembles a canopy roof.

Ho Tri It is located in front or on the south side of Old Sims. It is a wooden house of 3 rooms, 2 houses built side by side along the north-south line. The distance is about 5 meters, the platform is raised with 8 round wooden poles each with a connecting platform in the middle. gable roof The pediment is made of a sun halo pattern. The wall of the building is struck with a herringbone pattern in an oblique style. The side wall has three windows on each side, supported by a lion-patterned ridge. The lower part of the surrounding building wall is decorated with giant lotus flowers decorated with yellow, white and green glass.
