Ku Ban Khwao is an ancient site that has been restored until it is in a strong and stable condition. It is located on the edge of Nong Krathum, a large swamp whose main source of water is from Huai Kha Kang. tributaries of the Chi River The surrounding landscape has been developed into a major local attraction. Ku Ban Khwao is located 650 meters east of Ku Noi Ban Khwao.

Ku Ban Khwao is a group of buildings built with laterite and sandstone. consists of the chairman's prang 1 Bannalai building on the southeast side of the main prang Both buildings are surrounded by glass walls. The preliminary details are as follows:
- The main castle, built of laterite, facing east. There is a house of elements in a square shape, size 5x5 meters, with pseudo-doors on 3 sides, with a porch overhanging the front as an entrance. The upper part is made of lower floors, imitating the relics, stacked up to 4 floors. Currently, inside the relic house is a Buddha image that is worshiped by local Buddhists and tourists.
- Bannalai is located in the southeast corner of the main castle, facing west. It is a rectangular laterite building measuring 6 x 7.50 meters.
- arch door or gopura There is a plan in the shape of a cross made of laterite, size 10 x 11 meters, to serve as the entrance to the religious place.
- Glass wall made of laterite Constructed from the arched door surrounding the main castle and the library. It is a rectangular canvas, size 25x37 meters.
- 1 pool outside the glass wall on the northeast side.
from excavation in 1997 Found an inscription at the door jamb of the main castle, inscribed in Khmer characters, Khmer language, dated around the 17th-18th Buddhist century, a message inviting people to worship Buddha images enshrined in religious places. The front porch of the main castle is inscribed with Khmer characters in Sanskrit language, 2 lines, which can be read and translated as "invite / worship the gods in the ashram". The age of the alphabet is set around the 16th-17th Buddhist centuries, and there are dozens of silver-covered Buddha images contained in jars. It is an art in the Lan Chang culture period.
