Antaeus (/ænˈteɪ.əs/; Greek: Ἀνταῖος, Antaios) was a mythicalgiant in Greek mythology. Son of Poseidon, god of the sea, and Gaia, the earth, he was said to be of such great strength due to his contact with the earth, his mother.
