In 13 AD, Suhadeva established an independent Hindu state in Kashmir, but in 1339 AD, under the name of Assistant Mel Shamsuddinsah, became the first Muslim ruler of Kashmir and made his capital at Indra Court. The ruler of Kashmir, Sikandar was charitable, he persecuted the Hindus. He assumed the title of Butshikan.
During that time Timur invaded Kashmir in 1398 AD. He imposed Jizya on Brahmins. Shahi Khan became the ruler of Kashmir in 1420 AD. Which became famous as Zainul Abidin. He got Rajatarangini and Mahabharata translated into Persian. Zainu-ul-Abidin freed Hindus from Jizya tax, he is called Akbar of Kashmir.
Jaunpur
Jaunpur was founded by Firoz Shah Tughlaq in the memory of his brother John Khan. Jaunpur is known for the Sharqi art of architecture. Atala Masjid was built by Ibrahim Shah Sharqi. Hussain Shah built Jami Masjid. Jaunpur was called Siraj of India.
Gujarat
