When did converse chuck taylors come out?

The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star shoe was first introduced in 1917 by the Converse Rubber Shoe Company. It was originally known as the "Non-Skid" and was designed as a basketball shoe. The shoe gained popularity among basketball players, including Chuck Taylor, who became an endorser of the shoe in 1921. The shoe was renamed the "Chuck Taylor All-Star" in 1932 and has remained a popular shoe to this day.
