Neville Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1937 to 1940. He is best known for his appeasement policy toward Nazi Germany, which culminated in the 1938 Munich Agreement. His appeasement policy is generally considered to have contributed to the outbreak of World War II.

Chamberlain did not make any significant accomplishments during World War II. He died of cancer in November 1940, shortly after the Battle of Britain had begun. Winston Churchill succeeded him as Prime Minister.
