Wat Kai Tia is a temple that is still in use today. Located along the Bangkok Noi canal west side In addition to the west there is a small canal, the canal of Wat Kai Tia. that connects the Bangkok Noi Canal (Separate from Khlong Bangkok Noi on the north side of the temple) with Khlong Wat Taling Chan and Khlong Chak Phra.

The temple is located on a low plain area, flooded. The current temple surroundings is an urban community. There are very densely populated houses.

Wat Kai Tia is now a Rat Temple. Under the Maha Nikaya Sangha Located along the west side of the Bangkok Noi Canal. (Khlong Bangkok Noi runs through the east side of the temple), with the Wat Kai-Tia canal flowing through the north and west sides. making the area almost surrounded by canals

According to the history of the temple of the National Buddhism Office, Wat Kai Tia was built around 1777 in the late Thonburi period.

The history of the temple, both the Department of Religious Affairs and the temple, states that Chao Phraya Rattanaphiphit (Son) Samuhanayok, the surname “Sonthirat” was built during the reign of King Rama I. Some say that it was renovated in the reign of King Rama I (Wichyada Thongpang and Saran Thongpan 2012:147).

Phra Phutthachai It is located between the ubosot and the viharn within the northern glass wall. Built in the reign of Luang Por Nuan as the abbot in 1930, it was built like a wall. bell tower It is located beside the sermon hall. It is an old bell tower, made of bricks and mortar, 2 storeys high.

Tripitaka Hall It is a 2-storey brick-and-mortar building, characterized by an artistic style in the reign of King Rama III. The eaves are carved with bats in Chinese style.
