General condition

The condition of the area is a plain. The east side of the temple is adjacent to Khlong Si Wa Pha Sawat. (Khk Kwai Canal) on the west side, next to Wat Rat Rangsan School North adjacent to private land In the south, next to Rama 2 Road, the temple has a plot of land 65 rai 3 ngan, partly for the government to build a school building at Wat Rat Rangsan School.

Rat Rangsan Temple (Kok Krabue) is a Rat temple. Affiliated with Maha Nikaya There is no clear evidence of construction. In the history documents of temples throughout the kingdom, Volume 21 states that it was established in 1766 and was granted Wisung Kham Sima in 1920 Wisung Kham Sima District, width 7 meters, length 72 meters. Names of abbots that are known are Figure 1 Phra Chot. Figure 2 Phra Jae Figure 3 Phra Kru Sakorn Sangkhakit (1962-1983, Figure 4 Phra Kru Wibun Thammawat) (1983-2001) Figure 5 Phra Kru Sakhon Suphakit, 2001-Present (Buddhist Religious Sites Division, 2002:64) At present, no traces of ancient sites are visible. The buildings inside the temple were all built in the latter.

Villagers say that this temple is called Wat Khok Krabue or Wat Khok Kwai because the original area was a high hill. In the past, when there was a flood, villagers would bring buffaloes to bind them in this area. Therefore, it is the origin of Wat Khok Kwai.
