General Condition
Ku Jok Pok Temple is an abandoned ancient site. It was originally a small mound. It is located outside the city of Wiang Kum Kam. It is about 100 meters from the wall of Wiang Kum Kam in the southeast, about 2.5 kilometers from the Ping River to the east. After excavation, only the base of the viharn and the base of the chedi were found. Currently, the ancient site is surrounded by allocated villages.

The Fine Arts Department has excavated and studied Wat Ku Chok Pok in the years 1999 – 2000 (Department of Fine Arts 2005 :60). Found information of ancient monuments and antiques as follows:
The ancient site of Wat Ku Chok Pok is planned in the east-west direction. The viharn and the pagoda are on the same base. The viharn is located in front of the pagoda and faces east.
Architectural features

In addition, other types of antiques were also found, such as pieces of pottery made from the San Kamphaeng kiln source. Wiang Kalong furnace source sand kiln source Tao Wang Nuea Lamphun style unglazed earthenware and found a piece of Chinese wares during the Ming Dynasty (1911 - 2187 AD) in the type of cups and bowls painted under the blue glaze. And some pieces have a symbol at the bottom of the clay pot that can be dated around the 21st - 22nd Buddhist century. In addition, green glazed Chinese wares made from Jingdezhen furnaces were also found. in Guangxi Age around the 21st Buddhist century
