Archaeological site number 12 is located within the city of Chiang Saen. On the west side near the Curtain Army Gate It consists of a viharn and a pagoda located on the same base. as a base for later additions Found a piece of stucco sculpture depicting a person dressed in cloth to decorate the building. Therefore, it was assumed that this chedi was probably a castle-shaped chedi. It was probably built around the 19th Buddhist century and continued to be used until the city of Chiang Saen was lost to Burma in the early 22nd Buddhist century and then abandoned during this period or perhaps shortly after.

Building number 1 is assumed to be a viharn. It is a rectangular building, made of bricks, heading to the east. It is a viharn that has been continuously constructed to collide with the base of the pagoda. until becoming a viharn and a pagoda on the same base Chukchi base is a brick base on the west building. leaving only the base of the inverted lotus The pillars were square shaped brick pillars, found 8 of them. No decorations were found on the pillars or the pillar bases. The bricks are laid out in a square convex frame. In the middle, a pair of bricks were built longitudinally until they were filled as pillars.

On the east side of Building No. 1, traces of stairs are found in the front porch. Both the side stairs and the stairs in front of the building which is related to the construction of building additions

Building No. 2 found a square brick base on the west side of Building No. 1, a solid brick base. Only the base of the board was left. assumed to be a chedi The base found here was decorated as a two-tiered chopping board base, the upper part above it was completely destroyed. But from excavation, many stucco sculptures were found. Especially the lower part of the person wearing 2 pieces of cloth decorated with the building and 2 pieces of stucco statue of the guards. Therefore, the students assumed that it might be a castle-shaped chedi.

A square brick base was also found. On the west side, reserve a pagoda. But this brick base is only the same height as the ground. It is assumed that it may be an altar.

Most of the artifacts found were brick fragments and clay tiles. There are few pieces of pottery. In addition, 3 pieces of stucco sculptures decorated with ancient sites were also found, in incomplete condition.

From the evidence found, it is assumed that this ancient site was probably built around the 19-22 Buddhist century.
