This area used to be the home of Phrayaranatphakdi (Aim Na Mahachai), former Director-General of the Department of Accounting. and Director-General of the Department of Storage (Department of Finance) during the reign of King Rama 1 - 4, later became a royal property And the Ministry of Commerce has requested to use it as a storage for books, accounts and things of German and Austrian department stores in 1924 until 1925, the Textbook Department, Ministry of Justice has asked to use this area as a textbook printing house to publish textbooks. Book quizzes, educational courses and other books including being a central store for distributing textbooks Therefore, the demolition and repair of the original building was carried out. In front of Phra Sumen Road, originally, this area used to have a city wall connected to Phra Sumen Fort. Until the year 1928, Mrs. Maitriwanich (Kimran Yodmanee), the owner of a plot of land next to the Teachers Council of Thailand printing house. On the east side, the King asked for the removal of the walls of Phra Nakhon in such areas.

In 2013, the Treasury Department carried out conservation of the Teachers Council of Thailand printing house in order to become the Bang Lamphu Museum, a museum that educates about the history of Bang Lamphu area. Bang Lamphu Community, Krung Krung Rattanakosin Wall And the affairs of the Treasury Department during the area adjustment, an archaeological excavation was carried out on the wall in front of the entrance gate on Phra Athit Road to study the boundary of the Phra Nakhon wall of Rattanakosin that may be connected from the Phra Sumen Fort located nearby.

From archaeological excavations on the inner wall of the entrance door, no bricks were found. that shows that it is the foundation of the city wall Although the location of the excavation pit is in a continuous line with the city wall connected from Phra Sumen Fort, the excavation has found traces of buildings that are presumed to be brick buildings with reinforced concrete structures. Build the foundation at the depth from the soil surface to 180 centimeters It is assumed that this area has a brick and mortar building. This building has a foundation 180 centimeters underground and although this area may have had the foundation of the Rattanakosin Wall infiltrate the area, but the building was actually built. Brick and mortar built and demolished the foundations of Bangkok's walls until there is no evidence to show them at present (Kannikar Suthiratanaphirom 2019)
