General Condition

The castle is currently located within the Prasat Thep Sathit Temple. There is a small river which is a branch of Lam Plai Mat. Nong Ta Pleng Castle It is an ancient site that has not been restored and looks like a castle in Khmer culture. is a single building facing east There is no wall around it, currently it is in dilapidated condition.

The building consists of 2 parts:the one behind which is the castle. On the east side of the castle is a rectangular building connected from the castle. There are two entrance gates:on the east front of the building And in the west back of the castle, the whole thing was made of laterite as the main building material. and use white or gray sandstone as part of the door frame Columns adorn the door frames and lintels. The top of the castle and the top of the building At present, the wall has collapsed on both sides, front and back. The south side had all collapsed. The north side had already collapsed and there were traces of a moat surrounding the castle. Most of them are probably already taken by Bangkok from the development of the area to build temples.
