The present Prang Don Ku archaeological site appears only at the base of the laterite building. facing east The layout is square. There is a porch in the front which is on the east side. The size is about 8 meters wide and about 11 meters long. The center of the square-shaped room, or the current Garbhagharha, enshrines a large Buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara, built by villagers about 20-30 years ago.
Prang Don Ku was originally a large high-rise building. Made of laterite, but about 20-30 years ago, there were thieves smuggling in search of antiques around Don Ku Castle. by digging deep into the middle of the castle until it was a hollow Therefore, the villagers brought the soil to fill up and built a stucco Buddha image to cover the aforementioned smuggling hole to prevent illegal excavation (Department of Fine Arts 2014), including for worship.
The floor inside the building was filled with gravel. There is a large tree in the southwestern part of the building. Under the tree on the base of the building stood a wooden court. Villagers built a brick wall around the base of the ancient building. There is an entrance and exit in the front, no door. The entrance arch indicates the year of construction that it was built in 1982.
In addition to the ancient buildings Villagers in the area have also unearthed artifacts in Khmer culture such as pottery jars. Pillar crushed sandstone, etc. The Fine Arts Department (2014) assumed that the Don Ku Prang was a building built in Khmer culture. It is a accommodation for travelers or synagogues during the reign of Jayavarman VII, around the 18th Buddhist century.
