Wat Mongkol Sathan is a temple that is still in use today. Located on Petchkasem Road back part (South side) next to Khlong Nang Noi Currently, the chapel is an archaeological site that has been well preserved. inactive because there is 1 new chapel next to each other.

The condition of the area is plain at the foot of Khao Banthat. That is about 4.5 kilometers to the east. The area surrounding the temple is generally gardens and houses of the villagers. in front of the temple or on the north side Adjacent to Petchkasem Road, on the west side adjacent to Wat Mongkol Sathan School, on the south and east adjacent to Khlong Nang Noi, garden area and the houses of the villagers

Wat Mongkhon Sathan is a royal temple. Affiliated with Maha Nikaya Built in 1906 in the reign of King Rama V, originally named "Wat Lamor", named after the village. Later it was renamed to Wat Mongkhon Sathan. After receiving Wisungkhamsima (Phanuwat Ueasamarn et al. 2018:136) in 1937 (National Buddhism Office 2022)

Important archaeological sites (Phanuwat Euasamarn et al. 2018:136) are the chapel, built in 1937, rectangular plan, 12 meters wide, 8 meters long, reinforced concrete structure. facing east There are a total of 4 entrance doors, one in the middle of the front (the extraction side), one that is larger than the other. and at the side of the chapel wall (long side) on both sides, 1 space on each side, in the middle position and the door at the back (Extraction side) 1 more compartment, with the door located next to the wall on the north side. The appearance of the door and window is a simple double opening. The light above every window is decorated with the image of the rising sun. There is a radii in a semicircle. At every column, there will be a circle of light similar to the Pikul flower pattern around it. South wall behind the principal Buddha image Drill some light holes into beautiful little bars to increase the brightness behind the Buddha image.
