Who is the father of scientific history?

The father of scientific history is generally considered to be the Greek philosopher and historian Herodotus, who lived in the 5th century BC. He is known for his work "Histories", which is considered to be the first work of history in the Western world that was based on empirical evidence and research rather than on myths or legends. Herodotus travelled extensively and interviewed people from different cultures and backgrounds in order to gather information for his work. His writings have been praised for their accuracy and objectivity, and he is often referred to as the "Father of History" or the "Father of Scientific History".
