Who is the Egyptian god Imsety?

In ancient Egyptian mythology, Imsety was the protector of the liver or intestines during the embalming process and one of the Four Sons of Horus. He is represented as a human-headed man and he watched of the South. As one of the four protective deities of canopic jars in which the viscera of deceased persons were stored Imsety watched over the liver with the goddess Isis. The canopic jar assigned to him usually was made of red stone or pottery .

Additionally ,Imsety protected against the devouring flames at Duat's Lake of Fire when the Sun God had set during its nocturnal voyage through the underworld.
