Who propounded feudalism?

The feudal system emerged as a decentralized political and social system in Europe during the Middle Ages. It did not have a single propounder, but rather evolved gradually through a combination of political, economic, and social factors. The system involved the exchange of land for military service and loyalty, creating a hierarchical structure of lords, vassals, and peasants. While various historical figures and legal scholars contributed to the development of feudalism, it was a product of collective societal transformations rather than a single individual's proposal.
