Where did the pilgrims travel from?

The Pilgrims, a group of English Puritans, traveled from England to the New World in 1620. Specifically, they sailed from Plymouth, England on the ship called Mayflower. The Pilgrims were seeking religious freedom and a place where they could practice their faith without persecution. They landed in what is now Provincetown Harbor in present-day Massachusetts and established the Plymouth Colony, the first permanent English settlement in what would become the United States of America.
