What is arthragia?

Arthragia, also known as joint pain, is a common symptom of inflammatory rheumatic conditions characterised by inflammation of and around the body's synovial joints (such as arthritis) and soft tissues around the joint due to other causes, including muscle pain of nonarticular rheumatism and nonrheumatic conditions affecting the bones, the skin or soft tissues and other joint structures, resulting in a sensation of discomfort or pain in or around a joint (most often involving synovial joints) and is distinguished from myalgia involving other skeletal muscle.[4]:139
