Who invented marching?

Marching is a form of human locomotion in which people walk in a coordinated manner, usually in time with music or percussion. The origins of marching are not well-documented, but it is believed to have originated in ancient times as a way for people to move large groups of people quickly and efficiently. Marching is also thought to have been used for ceremonial and military purposes, as it can be used to create a sense of order and discipline.
