Who is the first pharaoh of Egypt?

The first pharaoh of Egypt is traditionally considered to be Menes, also known as Narmer. He is believed to have unified Upper and Lower Egypt around 3100 BC, marking the beginning of the Early Dynastic Period in ancient Egypt. Narmer is often depicted wearing the crowns of both Upper and Lower Egypt, symbolizing his role as the unifier of the two regions. The earliest evidence of Narmer's reign comes from the Narmer Palette, a ceremonial slate that depicts him smiting his enemies and performing other symbolic acts of kingship.
