Who was the king after Alexander great?

After the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC, his vast empire was divided among his generals in a series of wars known as the Wars of the Diadochi. The main successors were:

* Cassander: He ruled over Macedonia and Greece.

* Lysimachus: He controlled Thrace and Asia Minor.

* Seleucus I Nicator: He founded the Seleucid Empire, which encompassed Mesopotamia, Syria, and Persia.

* Ptolemy I Soter: He established the Ptolemaic Kingdom in Egypt and Cyrenaica.

These four generals eventually became independent rulers and founded their own dynasties. In Greece, there were also some city-states that regained their independence after Alexander's death.
