Moyen-Congo , (French:"Middle Kongo"), one of the four regions includes , French - Equatorial Africa , whose origins can be derived from the establishment in 1880 by the researcher Pierre de Savorgnan Brazza of a station in Ntamo. From 1934, Moyen-Congo was administered directly by the Governor-General of French Equatorial Africa. Independent status has been set as Congo Republic in 1960 and later became People's Republic of the Congo renamed , abbreviated Congo (Brazzaville).
