Octavia Thurina Major or simply Octavia Major was the daughter of Roman governor and senator Gaius Octavius from his first wife, Ancharia. She was also the half-sister of Octave, the future Emperor Augustus and Octavia Thurina Minor. Little is known about her other than the fact that she lived in the 1st century BC. J.-C. Plutarch declares about her, that she was an admirable and beautiful woman.
