How did the fall of Alamo help Texas revolution?

The fall of the Alamo did not help the Texas Revolution, it was a significant defeat for the Texan forces. The Alamo was a garrison in San Antonio, Texas, that was besieged and eventually captured by Mexican forces under the command of General Antonio López de Santa Anna. The fall of the Alamo strengthened Santa Anna's position and allowed him to continue his campaign to crush the Texas Revolution.
