Did the parents of hippies cause any threats?

There is no evidence to suggest that the parents of hippies caused any threats. Hippies were a countercultural movement that emerged in the United States during the 1960s, largely centered on opposition to the Vietnam War and traditional social values. While some hippie ideals and activities, such as drug use and communal living, were controversial, their parents do not appear to have played any significant role in these aspects of the movement.
