What actions of Clemenceau later cost him support?

Clemenceau's decision to suppress workers' strikes and his harsh methods of dealing with opponents, known as "Clemencisme", alienated many workers and union leaders. He was also criticized for his support of the war in Morocco, which was seen by some as a colonial venture that diverted resources from domestic needs. Additionally, his anticlerical policies, such as the separation of church and state, angered some religious groups and their followers. These actions contributed to Clemenceau's loss of popularity and support later in his career.
