Is Jhon Brown- Leader of the Confederate Army during civil War?

John Brown was not the leader of the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was an abolitionist who led a raid on Harpers Ferry, Virginia, in an attempt to incite a slave rebellion in 1859. He was captured and executed for treason, becoming a martyr to the abolitionist cause.

The leader of the Confederate Army during the Civil War was Jefferson Davis.
