How did the nashville battle affect outcome of civil war?

The Battle of Nashville did not affect the outcome of the Civil War.

The war had effectively ended on April 9, 1865, when Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered to Union General Ulysses S. Grant at the Battle of Appomattox Court House.

The Battle of Nashville took place on December 15-16, 1864, more than three months before Lee's surrender, and was the last major battle of the war in the Western Theater.

Although it was a significant Union victory, it did not have a decisive impact on the war's outcome as the Confederacy was already in a state of collapse by that time.
