How much did Children get paid on hour for their work during the Industrial Revolution?

During the Industrial Revolution, many children worked, but they weren't paid wages the same way adults were.

Youngsters between the ages of 9 and 16 made up the bulk of the workforce and spent 12 to 16 hours there nonstop, day in and day out. They didn't get paid wages, but they did receive food and lodging in exchange.

The payment in kind was occasionally supplemented with small amounts of money, but only rarely did children receive the majority of their compensation in this way.
