History of North America

Where did most of the pioneers settle?

Most of the pioneers settled in the Midwest, including the states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. This region was chosen because it had fertile soil, which was ideal for farming. The pioneers also settled in the West, including the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. These areas were chosen because they had a relatively mild climate and an abundance of natural resources, which made them suitable for farming and logging.
