The peace process of World War 1?

There was no peace process during World War 1. The war ended on 11 November 1918 with an armistice between the Allies (primarily France, the United Kingdom, Russian Empire (until early 1918), Italy (from 1915), Japan (from 1914), the United States (from 1917) and many smaller nations) and Germany. The armistice was followed by a peace conference in Paris that resulted in the Treaty of Versailles, which was signed on 28 June 1919. The treaty imposed harsh penalties on Germany, including loss of territory, reparations, and restrictions on its military.
