What do Buddhists think about God?

The idea of a creator God is not central to Buddhism. While some Buddhist traditions mention gods and goddesses, they are seen more as symbols or aspects of the natural world and the human mind rather than as all-powerful creators of the universe.

In Buddhism, the focus is on the individual's journey toward liberation from suffering and the realization of enlightenment. The concept of a personal god or creator is not essential for this process.
