Historical story

How do I use have or has in the past tense?

In the past tense, "have" is used for the first person singular (I), and "has" is used for the third person singular (he, she, it). For example:

- I had a great time at the party last night.

- He has been working hard on his project all week.

- She has a beautiful new dress.

To form the past tense of "have," add "-d" to the end of the verb. For example:

- I have -> I had

- He has -> He had

- She has -> She had

To form the past tense of "has," simply add "-d" to the end of the verb. For example:

- He has -> He has

- She has -> She has
