How do they think King Tutankhamun died?

King Tutankhamun, also known as Tutankhamen, is believed to have died from complications arising from a leg fracture and subsequent infection. In 2005, a team of Egyptian and international scientists conducted a study on Tutankhamun's mummy and concluded that a chariot accident likely caused the leg injury. Evidence of a broken left leg and fractured skull supported this theory.

Additionally, the examination revealed other medical conditions, including malaria and a rare bone disorder known as Köhler's disease, which may have weakened his immune system and made him more susceptible to infection.

While the accident-related theory is widely accepted, some experts have proposed alternative explanations, such as a genetic disorder, a hunting accident, or even foul play. However, the chariot accident remains the most plausible and evidence-based explanation for King Tutankhamun's untimely death at the age of 18 or 19.
