These are all major rivers in North America. The St. Lawrence River is located in eastern Canada and the United States. It connects the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean. The Connecticut River is located in New England and flows south through Massachusetts and Connecticut to Long Island Sound. The Hudson River is located in New York State and flows south from the Adirondack Mountains to New York City. The Delaware River is located in the Mid-Atlantic region and flows south from the Catskill Mountains to the Delaware Bay. The Susquehanna River is located in the Mid-Atlantic region and flows west and south through Pennsylvania and Maryland to the Chesapeake Bay. The Potomac River is located in the Mid-Atlantic region and flows west and south through Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland to the Chesapeake Bay. The James River is located in Virginia and flows west and south to the Chesapeake Bay. The Savannah River is located in the southeastern United States and flows south through Georgia and South Carolina to the Atlantic Ocean.
