Wat Aranyik archaeological site is an abandoned temple located in the southern foothills of Khao Saphan Hin. Outside Sukhothai to the west It is about 2.2 kilometers from the west moat to the west, about 1.7 kilometers from Khlong Sao Ho to the north, about 400 meters from Wat Saphan Hin to the south, and about 100 meters north of Wat Phrabat Noi.

Geological conditions
Khao Saphan Hin is a limestone mountain in the fishbone rock category. Lampang rock group, Triassic period, 245-210 million years ago (Department of Mineral Resources 2008 :15) formed in the marine sediment deposition environment in northern Thailand.

Important ancient sites include Monk's base group, made of bricks, used for monks to sit in meditation The cubicle is small for only one monk to sit in meditation.
