The ancient monument hill near Wat Pa Daeng is an abandoned ancient site. It is located outside Chiang Mai city to the west. It is about 2 kilometers from the west moat around the hill of the ancient monument near Wat Pa Daeng. "Huan Por Liang" which is the land of the people.

The hill of the ancient Chedi Wat Pa Daeng Luang is a large chedi. Located in the area of the people's land, next to the building "Huan Por Liang" looks like a large hill about 10 meters high, covered with soil. There was a large tree covering the ancient hill.
The general condition was renovated into a garden. surrounded by barbed wire The architectural features of the chedi were not found. Only the octagonal base remains (Department of Fine Arts 2016; Thanatorn Liamvanich 2010)
According to the history in the document, it is assumed that this temple is probably Pa Daeng Luang Temple. It is a temple that enters the Pa Daeng sect of Buddhism. There are buildings spread over a wide area. But now it has been disturbed by the late construction (Thanathorn Liamwanich 2010:291). Evidence in historical documents shows that Phayat Lokkarat (1985-2031) built Wat Pa Daeng Luang to contain the royal father's ashes.
