History of Kushan Dynasty

In the first century AD, there was a campaign of Kushanas in this area. There is a discussion of the invasion of Pataliputra by the Kushan ruler Kanishka (78-125 AD) and taking the famous Buddhist scholar Asvaghosha with him.

After the fall of the Kushan Empire, Magadha was ruled by the Lichchhavis. Other scholars consider Magadha to be controlled by Shaka Marudo.
