Lodi dynasty (1451-1526 AD)

The founder of the Lodi dynasty was Bahlol Lodi (1451 – 88 AD), who established the Afghan kingdom for the first time.

Sikandar Lodi (1489-1517 AD) introduced the use of Sikandri Gaj for the measurement of new land. He also wrote poems under the surname of Gulrukhi.

Sikandar Lodi founded the city of Agra in 1504 AD and made it his capital.

Bhakti and Sufi Movement

Ibrahim Lodi (1517-26 AD) was the last ruler of the Delhi Sultanate. First battle of Panipat (1526 AD) Babur defeated Ibrahim Lodi and ended the Delhi Sultanate.
