Berthier Louis-Alexandre (1753 - 1815)

Engineer and geographer, Berthier took part in the American War of Independence. Suspected of being a royalist, he was removed from office until he took part in a campaign against "the whites" of the West. Bonaparte will attach himself to his person, who will be his friend and confidant. He is an exceptional warrior, he is at the Lodi bridge, his horse is killed under him at Wagram. But he decides to display the white cockade to his troops, he dies falling from a window (attack or suicide?).
