General Condition

Gu Ai Lan Temple is an abandoned ancient site. Away from the original Ping River line (Ping away) to the south about 100 meters away from the Ping River to the east about 1 km, located on the land of Mr. Lan. therefore named after the owner of the land Away from Wan Chang Kham to the northeast, about 170 meters. At present, the ancient site is surrounded by gardens and residential houses. A cement fence was built around the land where the ancient site is located.

The Fine Arts Department has excavated and studied the ancient monuments of Wat Kuai Lan in 1999–2000 (Department of Fine Arts 2005:71–72). The information of ancient monuments and antiquities was found as follows:

The ancient monuments of Wat Ku Ai Lan consist of viharn, pagoda, kaeo wall and arch.

Architectural features

1. Vihara is a hall facing east. 2. The chedi is located behind the viharn. 3. Glass walls appear to the east, west and south. Only the east side has an entrance arch (Mekong arch) with brick paving as a walkway connecting the stairs to the entrance to the temple. However, the style of the Khong arch of Kuai Lan Temple has the same characteristics as the Khong Arch of Ku Rid Mai Temple, Ku Mai Song Temple, Hua Nong Temple, and Phaya Mangrai Temple, etc.

Artifacts found

Determination of age
