How did trade fairs help to end feudalism?

Trade fairs did not play any direct role in ending feudalism. Feudalism was a complex political, economic, and social system based on land tenure and personal loyalty between lords and vassals. Feudalism declined due to various economic and political factors, such as the rise of towns, the development of trade and money, the Crusades, and the emergence of nation-states. Trade fairs were important in facilitating trade and commerce but were not directly connected to the decline of feudalism.
