Who was Queen great-grandmother?

Queen's great-grandmother was Queen Alexandra, the wife of King Edward VII.

Alexandra was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1844, as Princess Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. She was the daughter of Christian IX of Denmark and Louise of Hesse-Kassel.

In 1863, Alexandra married Edward, Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII. They had six children together, including King George V and Queen Maud of Norway.

Queen Alexandra was a popular figure during her lifetime and was known for her beauty and charm. She died in 1925 at the age of 81.
