Who were some English explorers?

Here are a few notable English explorers:

1. John Cabot: Cabot, an Italian-born explorer commissioned by King Henry VII of England, led expeditions in the late 15th century that explored the coast of North America, including Newfoundland and Canada.

2. Sir Francis Drake: Drake was an Elizabethan navigator, merchant, naval commander, privateer, and politician who circumnavigated the globe from 1577 to 1580, becoming the first Englishman to do so. He was also the second person to circumnavigate the world after the Spanish explorer Ferdinand Magellan.

3. Walter Raleigh: Raleigh, known for his daring and expansive ambitions, made several expeditions to North America in the late 16th century, most famously establishing the failed Roanoke Colony in present-day North Carolina in 1585.
